Video – Creating Clones in VMware Workstation (vSphere Lab Part 2)

In video number 2 of walking through Jonathan Frappier excellent series on installing a vSphere lab in VMware Workstation, we will show how to create clones of our Windows 2012 R2 server. One difference between my lab and Jonathan’s is that I recommend placing your template on your SSD if you have multiple drives in your system.  The clone should be placed on spinning disk.  From my earlier attempt to see how many VM’s I could get running under VMware Workstation, I found this to be the best configuration for clones.

The original lab write-up is here.
